Services

Fields Occupational Therapy supports families accessing services through NDIS ECEI funding (both self-managed and plan-managed), Medicare (Chronic Disease Management) plans as recommended by GPs, private health insurance (please check if your child is eligible for claiming with your provider) or privately-funded (out-of-pocket).  

Our fees are set in accordance with the current NDIS Price Guide.

Fields Occupational Therapy is dedicated to nurturing infants, toddlers, young children and their families’ to support their development, independence and engagement in meaningful occupations.

Assessment and intervention is delivered in partnership with the child’s primary caregivers, and as such, our services involve a parent coaching and consultation model to achieve best outcomes for the child.

Initial Consultation

$193.99 hourly rate. Initial consultation between 1-1.5 hours dependent on child’s presenting concerns.

Offered via Telehealth only.

Inclusive of: 

  • Optional comprehensive pre-appointment online case history questionnaires 

  • Formal and informal assessment tailored as indicated, depending on your child’s specific presentation, and your concerns 

  • In-depth discussion of your concerns, your child’s development to date, and their current strengths and needs

Initial Assessment

$193.99 hourly rate. Initial assessment 60 min + 10 min clinical documentation.

Offered in the home* and via Telehealth.

Inclusive of: 

  • Clinical observations of your child 

  • Tailored goal setting to identify a therapy plan and approach

Assessment / NDIS Review Report(s)

$193.99 hourly rate. Generally between 2-4 hours dependent on complexity - quotation to be discussed prior to billing.

Delivered as a PDF document via email 

  • Reports will be released once all payments are finalised 

  • Required for NDIS participants to provide evidence of support provided for the Plan review

  • Assessment reports can be provided to assist with paediatrician appointments, childcare supports and school readiness

Therapy Sessions

$193.99 hourly rate. Therapy session 60 min + 10 min clinical documentation.

Offered in the home* and via Telehealth. Option for occasional sessions within the child’s childcare environment.*

Inclusive of: 

  • Conducted with the child and their caregiver/s together. Some therapy sessions may consist only of caregivers in a coaching model - dependent on individual basis

  • Ongoing reviews and update of therapy goals, strategies and treatment plan

  • Liaison with other professionals and stakeholders as agreed

Equipment Assessment & Prescription

$193.99 hourly rate. Time dependent on complexity and client need.

Offered in the home and the child’s childcare or school environment.*

Inclusive of:

  • Assessment of your child’s needs and potential equipment options in the child’s home and childcare/school environment

  • Liaison with stakeholders, including relevant equipment suppliers

  • Written Assistive Technology (AT) application for review by NDIA (NDIS participants only)

  • Set-up, fitting, and training of use of equipment with child’s family/caregivers

Resource Development

$193.99 hourly rate. Time dependent on the resource and billed in 10 minute increments - quotation to be discussed prior to billing.

  • Development of therapeutic resources can be provided as required and agreed upon

  • Examples can include visual routine schedules, social stories, educational resources for caregivers, etc.

*Travel is applied for home, childcare, school and community sessions and is calculated as per the NDIS Price Guide.
